4/21/2002 - CIERA ANNOUNCES THIRD ANNUAL SUMMER INSTITUTE
ALIGNING CURRICULUM, ASSESSMENT, AND INSTRUCTION: EMPOWERING TEACHERS AND LEARNERS
The Center for the Improvement of Early Reading Achievement (CIERA) invites teachers, administrators, curriculum specialists, and state education officials to register for the third annual CIERA Summer Institute, to take place on the scenic University of Michigan campus, Ann Arbor, MI, Tuesday, July 23Saturday, July 27, 2002. The five-day institute provides an unparalleled opportunity to work closely with leading researchers, teacher educators, and policy specialists on a variety of literacy-related topics. Speakers will discuss the practical implications of their most recent research findings, and will lead a wide variety of stimulating and provocative workshops designed to help you improve the reading achievement of all children in your charge.
