Download Problems:
One of the most common problems we hear about is that reports or publications do not open, print, or display data correctly. This seems to be a bug in the Adobe Acrobat Web plug-in. It seems that if the plug-in runs out of memory it will not display or print the pdf file correctly. The solution is to download the file before viewing it, using the following instructions:
If you have a PC:
First make sure you have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer. If you don't, click here to get the free Acrobat Reader from Adobe Systems Incorporated. Once this is done:
1. Hold your mouse over the link for the document you wish to view.
2. Right-click on the link and choose "Save link as" or "Save target as."
3. A typical "Save" window will open. Choose a location on your hard drive and save the file.
4. Minimize your Web browser. Go to the saved file and double-click on it.
5. The file should open and all of the data should be displayed.

4. Hide your Web browser, then locate the saved file in the Finder and double-click on it.
5. The file should open and all of the data should be displayed.

The Adobe Acrobat PDF presentations are displayed sideways, is there something wrong?
No there is not anything technically wrong. The way we create PDF presentations has changed and the program that creates them is unable to create presentations that display in true landscape mode, even though they will print up in landscape mode. If you only want to view the documents -and not print them-you will need to rotate the display. To do this you will need to make sure you have Acrobat 4 or newer. If you do not have Acrobat 4 or newer, you will either need to print up the presentations or view the HTML version or update your copy of Acrobat.
To rotate the display on Acrobat 4:
Click on the rotate button (in red) once

or go to the "View" menu and select "Rotate View 90 CCW"
To rotate the display on Acrobat 5 and up:
Click on the rotate button (in red) until it looks the way you want:

or to the "View" menu and select "Rotate Counterclockwise"
